The first three are single crystals of some Nickel complexes grown for single crystal XRD analysis. Grown by slow diffusion of Diethyl ether into DCM and/or by slow evap of methanol. The last two are misc ligands being purified by crystallization from ethanol.

I found these structures while observing cells with a microscope.
I am guessing they are ionic crystalline structures that were in the cells (onion cells), but I may be completely wrong. This was a long time ago, so I unfortunately do not remember the magnification (either 40x or 100x)
